1990 年，傳奇電影配樂大師 John Williams 發行精選專輯 《John Williams Conducts John Williams – The Star Wars Trilogy》，親自指揮並重新詮釋《Star Wars Original Trilogy》中的經典配樂。本專輯收錄來自原始星際大戰三部曲的 13 首代表性作品，由 Skywalker Symphony Orchestra 演奏，呈現出恢弘壯闊的交響音樂魅力。
專輯收錄多首影史最具代表性的電影配樂，包括《Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope》的 Main Theme 與 Throne Room / Finale、《Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back》中著名的 The Imperial March，以及深受樂迷喜愛的 Luke and Leia 等經典旋律。
