【印第安納瓊斯：水晶骷髏王國】在演員陣容上除了有哈里遜福特之外，同時也力邀首集「法櫃奇兵」的女主角凱倫艾蓮參與演出，新加入的成員包括了「伊莉莎白：輝煌年代」凱特布蘭琪，「變形金剛」新世代酷男西亞李畢福等。本集劇情設定在1957年的冷戰期間，印第安納瓊斯前往祕魯森林中的古老墓地，尋找傳說中的黃金城以及隱身其中的阿卡特水晶骷髏，在冒險的過程中，一行人與以凱特布蘭琪為首的蘇聯精銳部隊展開了神祕寶物的攻防大戰。
