CHTHONIC releases a Live Vinyl “MEGAPORTAL2425”
CHTHONIC released its Live Vinly “MEGAPORTAL2425”, which includes 5 selected songs from the 2024 and 2025 Megaport Festivals, and videos have also been released online.
There has been a consistent theme in CHTHONIC’s performances at Megaport Festival over the past two years, which broke the boundary between reality and illusion and brought onto stage the virtual time and space. In 2024, technology was used to allow virtual characters to be presented in real time on the big screen, and in 2025, the characters appeared on the stage in person and interacted with the characters on the big screen.
Lead vocalist Freddy explained that, the screen at these two concerts are a "tunnel of time and space", or what people would call "portals" in time-travel dramas. The virtual time and space are connected to the real world through the portals. We see the virtual character through the screen, and the character sees us in the real world. When we performed "Endless Aeons", the character traveled through and appeared in the real world.
Other than “Endless Aeons”, the interweaving of time and space also appeared in other songs included in this Live EP. Including the overture "MEGAPORTAL INTRO", which superimposes different versions of "Takao" to present a chaotic and thrilling atmosphere; "Quell the Souls in Sing Ling Temple" is a battle across the world and the underworld; for "Defenders of Bú-Tik Palace–acoustic version", Finn, who has appeared in several CHTHONIC music videos in the past decade, was on the stage and to reenact the classic scene of the characters shouting the lyrics. Finally, tens of thousands of fans in the audience sang the chorus of "Takao" together, bringing the concert to a lively and perfect end.
In addition, the title of this Live EP, "MEGAPORTAL 2425", is also cleverly designed. "MEGAPORTAL" not only reflects the theme of the concert "PORTAL", but also extends from the name of the music festival "MEGAPORT Festival".

三、 訂單與預購變更

到貨時間： 尚未發行之預購商品，「國外發行日」不等於「台灣到貨日」。商品預計於國外發行後約 2 週左右到貨，實際進度需視國際物流而定。
